Arrange a site visit so we can inspect and measure your windows. We then provide a quotation; once confirmed, a 50% deposit locks in your order. Fabrication takes about 3–4 weeks, after which we arrange installation. The remaining 50% is paid after a successful installation.

Generally about 3–4 weeks before the end of your renovation, since that matches our lead time. It is best for us to come down after post-reno cleaning so renovation dust does not get trapped in the meshes.

Yes — installation over existing grilles is possible. However, the mesh box may be slightly bulkier and protrude outward. We recommend an on-site assessment first.

Drilling depends on the mesh type. For our insect mesh it is optional, though we recommend it for added security. For pet-friendly mesh and mesh blinds, drilling is mandatory.

Yes — all our products carry a 1-Year Warranty, starting from the day of successful installation.

Our retractable Pet-Friendly Mesh can withstand up to 40kg of force, so normal interaction from children is generally not a concern.

However, if your primary objective is child protection, we believe it is important to set realistic expectations.

At Ristoire, child safety is a top priority. While heavy-duty meshes are sometimes marketed as a child-safety solution, components such as the mesh fabric, frame, zipper welding, and mounting points may weaken over time if repeatedly subjected to significant weight or pressure.

For this reason, we do not hard-sell mesh systems as a substitute for dedicated child-safety barriers. Where child protection is the main concern, we generally recommend more robust solutions such as fixed window grilles for greater durability and long-term peace of mind.

Minimal impact. The mesh allows natural ventilation while maintaining a clear outward view.

The mesh can reduce dust to some extent, but dust filtration is not its primary function.

For customers meshing their entire home, we offer package pricing that is generally more cost-effective than purchasing individual window units separately.

Yes, we do.

Simply provide us with the original purchase order (PO) number of the customer who referred you.

Upon successful completion of the referred project:

• The referrer receives a $50 rebate
• The referred customer receives a $50 rebate

Please note that the referral programme currently applies only to full-home mesh installations.

For meshes, use a lint brush, a microfibre cloth, or a vacuum with a brush head — ideally every 3–4 weeks. For blinds, gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth.

Not necessarily.

The required repair depends on the extent and location of the damage.

If only the mesh fabric needs replacement and the frame remains in good condition, we can usually replace just the mesh. In such cases, the replacement fee is approximately 80% of the original unit cost.

If both the mesh and frame are damaged beyond repair, a full replacement may be required at the standard unit price.

As a gesture of goodwill, we do not charge additional labour fees for these replacement works.

In most cases, this is not recommended.

Our mesh systems are custom-made to fit the exact dimensions and specifications of each window. Unless the new window has identical dimensions and configuration, the existing mesh is unlikely to fit properly.

Please also note that removing a previously installed mesh may result in minor wear or surface marks on the original window frame, and the mesh system may not remain in its original condition after removal.

For the best fit and performance, we generally recommend a new custom-made installation for the new window.

Not at the moment — we prefer to bring samples directly to you during the site visit, so you can feel the products against your own windows. It saves you a trip down to us.

No, our mesh systems are not suitable for louvre windows. Casement and sliding windows are most compatible.
